  6. St. Joseph Society
The Saint Joseph Society Incorporated on December 7, 1915, our organization is a men’s society in honor of St Joseph. Our founding fathers came here from Sicily in the early 1900’s and settled in Lodi. To honor their patron, they built the first St Joseph church that was completed in 1917 and once stood on the corner of Summer and Spring streets. Our core values are based on our Roman Catholic faith. Our vision is to continue the traditions originated by our founding fathers such as: the Labor Day Weekend Feast, the St Joseph Table Dinner in March, handing out of blessed bread in honor of St Joseph closest to his Feast day on March 19, and beginning new traditions such as volunteering monthly to prepare meals for those less fortunate at a food bank. Our strategy is based on prayer, that through the intercession of St Joseph, we will continue to be a strong arm of the parish in living out our faith to the fullest through the work we do. Our meetings are held every first Monday of the month at 8PM in the downstairs meeting room of the rectory. For more information, please visit us at or our Facebook page - St Joseph Society Lodi NJ. St Joseph pray for us! San Giuseppe prega per noi!
